WilliRides

WilliARM BME Team is divided into two separate teams: WilliRides & WilliPlays

Our Project Partner, William Sevick is an energetic, lovable 4-year old from Westfield, IN. William was born with an unknown condition that interfered with the growth of his right arm below the elbow. Team WilliRides's goal is to create a functionary arm to serve as his first bicycle prosthetic. Our goal is to deliver an arm that grants him the ability to complete simple tasks involved in riding a bicycle with both hands. As a team, we decided to design a custom limb prosthetic that will allow him to balance and increase mobility on a bicycle.

We hope to deliver a functional and aesthetically pleasing prosthetic to the Sevick Family to enhance William's childhood life. Our most important goal, from the project partner himself, his to grant him the ability to hold onto his bike handles with both hands!
